I originally had the idea for the story 5 years ago in film school and after presenting the concept to my producing class, I became obsessed with the idea and invested countless hours into the development of this passion project. I knew I wanted to craft a compelling mystery thriller from the perspective of a teenage girl as she struggles to overcome shame and guilt in the wake of a traumatic loss. ​
At its core, the story is about redemption, and I used the concept of death and rebirth in an alternate universe to explore the nature of second chances and self-forgiveness...
The Pilot
A local indie production with big dreams
In August of 2023, a dedicated, largely volunteer-based cast and crew came together over 10 days in Whatcom County, Washington to shoot a proof-of-concept pilot episode for the series.

This 30-minute pilot ​was created to show potential investors, producers, and platforms that we have a captivating story worth reckoning with and the talent to back it up!

Our Team
Creator, Writer, Director
Madison is a screenwriter, director, and the founder of Wanderlust Films, a film and television production company based in Bellingham, Washington. A graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts with a degree in Film & TV Production (2019), Madison is a budding writer-director passionate about creating mystery thrillers and cerebral dramas. Her portfolio includes directing the pilot episode of an award-winning TV show (SIDE EFFECTS), as well as writing/directing critically acclaimed short films and commercials (REMEMBRANCE, IN OUR HEADS).

Cinematographer, Executive Producer
Troy Campione, PhD
Troy is an award-winning cinematographer whose work has been featured by Canon USA. His boutique creative agency, Cineteller® Productions, works closely with the world’s leading investment banks, IR and PR firms and has created original video content for more than one hundred companies to promote their products and services, raising more than $2 billion of funding in the process.

Line Producer
Reuben Evans, PGA
Reuben is a director, an award-winning screenwriter, and a member of the Producers Guild. As the former executive producer at Faithlife TV, he produced and directed numerous documentaries (including Fragments of Truth, The Unseen Realm, and Amazing Grace, currently in post-production) and commercials.
